Friends, I’m delighted to share that I’ll be teaching a Modern Holiday Stockings Workshop at the venerable Sonoma Community Center in Sonoma, California on the evening of Thursday, November 18, 2021. This will be an in-person session of festive holiday prep as we sew modern wool felt stockings for your home or gift giving! You’ll create one 15 inch stocking with your choice of two different felt appliqué options – a mistletoe or holly design. We’ll be machine sewing the stocking and appliqué utilizing beautiful wool blend felt and then adding just a little sparkle with hand sewn sequin berries, secured in place with clear glass seed beads.

I have long admired the brilliant Mistleholly Christmas Stockings pattern by designer Larissa Holland of MmmCrafts and with her blessing we’ll be utilizing it in this class. Each student will receive their own printed copy of this thoughtful and clear pattern, along with a PDF version that will be emailed after the class.
