Bunny joined our family in July of ’22, and in the Bunny joined our family in July of ’22, and in the spring of the following year we decided to grow potted tomatoes set in a scraggly patch of dirt on the sunny side of our house. When they began to ripen, we first witnessed her harvesting skills - which we only managed to capture on film a few times. More often than not, she’d triumphantly trot into the house, tail wagging at a furious pace - and her smacking lips were the only indication that we’d missed out on something delicious. 🍅 In anticipation of her 15th birthday, I commissioned a set of artistamps from longtime creative crush and illustrator Donovan Beeson whose love for the postals arts is evident in everything she creates. Using vintage tomato seed packets as inspiration, she created a really special homage to my favorite furry farmer. I had every intent of sharing these on January 1st, Bunny’s 15th birthday - but it was so close to the end of her journey and our emotions were raw. Now these handsome stamps serve as a sweet souvenir - beautifully crafted keepsakes of sunny adventures. ❤️‍🩹 I’m so grateful for @dovbee's extraordinary talent and care. She even tucked a thoughtful surprise into our commission delivery that I can’t wait to share in a future post. #ADogNamedBunny
