Hello friends and happiest of New Years to you! I wanted to let you know about my first workshop of 2016 at the Meng & Mahar Studio in downtown Los Angeles:
Valentine Wreath Workshop
Sunday, February 7, 2016, 11:00am – 2:00pm
Class fee $75. (includes supplies)
Truth be told I’m calling this a Valentine Wreath Workshop (because, well… it’s that time of year!), but it could just as easily be titled Wreath Making 101! Curious how to work with fresh foliage to create a custom wreath for your home? Join us to learn the construction basics utilizing a 12″ diameter wreath form, silvery sage seeded eucalyptus and coral red coffee beans. You’ll leave the workshop with a lush wreath for Valentine’s Day and the skills to create more for any day!
Each participant will learn techniques, tips and tricks to successfully create their own wreath. All tools and materials will be provided including fresh flower market foliage, wreath form and floral wire. If you have a favorite pair of pruning shears, consider bringing them along. Please wear clothing that you won’t mind possibly getting a bit messy.
The studio can comfortably accommodate six students for each workshop – which makes for a wonderfully fun, small scale class experience. Click here to purchase and reserve your seat.
All workshops are held in the Meng & Mahar Studio Space located in the historic core of downtown Los Angeles. Click here for the address, directions, a map and parking information.
